PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable safe control of high performance by limiting an input voltage of a permanent magnet type synchronous motor. SOLUTION: This control unit is provided with a voltage limiting value operator operating an input voltage limiting value of the permanent magnet type synchronous motor, a voltage detector detecting or estimating an input voltage of the motor, and a d-axis current adjuster comparing the input voltage limiting value with an input voltage. When the input voltage is larger than the limiting value, the adjuster increases a d-axis current command gradually in the negative direction. When the input voltage is smaller than the limiting value, the adjuster sets the optimum d-axis current command as the upper limit, and increases the d-axis current command gradually in the positive direction. An output of the adjuster is delivered to a current controller, as a d-axis current command. |
