PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication recovering method for material testing device and a material testing device, with which a material test before communication recovery can be continued as long as possible in the case of communication recovery and communication can be recovered as automatically as possible in the case of communication abnormality. SOLUTION: A host computer 1 reads contents in an operating state storage part 25 of a controller 2 at the time of reset and when the contents in the operating state storage part show any state except for automatic operation, the host computer successively executes a preparation process for preparing the automatic operation of the material test by a controller, an execution command process for outputting the execution command of automatic operation to the controller and a data fetching process for fetching detected data from the controller but when the contents in the operating state storage part show automatic operation, on the other hand, the data fetching process is executed without executing the preparation process and the execution command process. |
