PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic lock type fastener which is light, has an inexpensive inner side screw and a strong type. SOLUTION: The faster is equipped with a metallic body 10 having a vacancy part 12 extended to an opposed end, the vacancy part 12 having a threaded surface, a polymer material-made patch 20 which is applied and fused to a part of the threaded surface, and a screw part 18 satisfying general torque characteristic specified under both IFI100/107 (year 1987) and IFI101 (year 1987). The method is so conducted that firstly, a polymerization resin material is applied and fused to at least a part of the threaded surface of the inner side screw member, and after that, the frictional characteristic of the screw is adjusted so that strong torque performance characteristic satisfies both IFI100/107 (year 1987) and IFI101 (year 1987).
