PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acquisition method for inter-mobile-terminal proximity information that can acquire information in real time when there is any change between two mobile terminals. SOLUTION: When one mobile terminal B detects its own position and movement by a prescribed distance, the mobile terminal B informs a position information management server 1 about mobile detection, and when the position information management server 1 receives no notice from the mobile terminals A and B for a prescribed time, the position information management server 1 transmits a position information notice request to the mobile terminals A and B to acquire the position information of the mobile terminals A and B. When the position information management server 1 acquires the position information of the one mobile terminal B, the position information management server 1 detects a change in the absolute position and the relative position change in the mobile terminals A and B taking opportunity of the acquisition of this position information and informs the other mobile terminal A about the position information of the one mobile terminal B. Through the procedure above, they can actively acquire the position.
