PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope light source device which is capable of supplying required illumination light by controlling a light source device. SOLUTION: This endoscope light source device has a lamp 11 which supplies the illumination light to the front end of an endoscope 2, a light guide 8 which has an incident end facing this lamp and an exit end existing near the front end of the endoscope, a liquid crystal panel 14 which is disposed between the lamp 11 and the incident end of the light guide 8 and varies the ratio by every wavelength of the wavelength components of the lamp 11 and a lens 12 which is disposed between this liquid crystal panel 14 and the incident end of the light guide 8 and condenses the illumination light transmitted through the liquid crystal panel 14 to the incident end of the light guide 8.
