XOR CODE, AND SERIAL CONNECTED CODER AND DECODER USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an XOR code and to provide a serial connected coder and decoder using it. SOLUTION: The XOR code of this invention is obtained by combining received information bits in the combination sequence decided by a user, applying modulo 2 arithmetic operation to the combined result and coding the result of the arithmetic operation at a bit rate of r (0<r<=1). Thus, the XOR code of this invention can be coded and decoded linearly with respect to time. Since the serial connected coder employing the XOR code of this invention employs no interleaver, the coder can immeditely transmit the coded input information bit without waiting for the processing of the interleaver.
