PURPOSE: A pivot shaft assembly of wiper system is provided to simplify structure and to reduce components and to safe production cost with reduced assembly time by inserting a bushing of plastic material rotatably supporting a pivot shaft in a lengthily extended state on a space part between a pivot shaft and a pivot housing. CONSTITUTION: A pivot shaft assembly consists of a pivot shaft(32) containing a spline combined with a wiper arm on a top(32) and a pivot housing(30) rotatably supporting from outer circumference. At a bottom of the pivot shaft, a pivot plate(28) is fixed. At a top and a bottom of a plastic bushing(60), an upper flange(62) and a lower flange(64) are equipped radially extended for intercepting rainwater. On a top of the upper flange(62) of the plastic bushing(60), a stop ring(50) for preventing separation is fitted and between a lower area of the lower flange(64) and the pivot plate(28), a planar washer(48) is fitted for preventing axial shock or vibration fed from the pivot shaft(32). In a space part between the pivot shaft and the pivot housing(30), the bushing(60) is inject-inserted for reducing components and saving cost with weight decrease.
