medicine, phytotherapy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of alcohol-containing complex preparation of natural origin based on vegetable raw. Elixir is an aqueous- -spirituous extract of Sibirian cedar pine seeds, Eleutherococcus senticosus rhizomes and roots, haw-thorn flowers and fruits, rowan melanocarpous (Aronia) fruits and birch buds and it has additionally honey, sugar syrup, 95%-th ethyl alcohol and water taken in the following ratio of components, g: an aqueous-spirituous extract. 550-600 ml; natural honey, 45-50; sugar syrup, 30-35; 95%-th ethyl alcohol, 100-110 ml; purified water, up to 1000 ml. An aqueous- -spirituous extract has substances to be oxidized as measured for tannin in the amount 85 mg/l, sum of flavonoids 14 mg/l. Tannin content in the end product is 50 mg/l and sum of flavonoids is 7 mg/l. Elixir intake results to the stable therapeutic effect in treatment of patients with atherosclerosis and heart ischemic disease, it decreases toxic liver damages, among them, in use of tuberculostatic agents and in correction of metabolic syndrome symptoms.
