PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a motor driving apparatus equipped with control units having a mounting configuration more resistive to failure. SOLUTION: In the mounting configuration of control, a plurality of control units controlling individually a plurality of power converters are installed. Each of the control units receives an output current detected value of the power converter which a self unit controls individually, and the output current detected values of power converters except the power converter which the self unit controls. Each of the control units outputs a control command to the self power converter by using the current detected values, in such a manner that a control gain to an output current summed value and a control gain to the unbalanced component of output current of each power converter are made different from each other and an output current of the self power converter is made coincide with or be proportional to the command value.
