PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor in which a brush holder can be attached easily to a brush insertion part. SOLUTION: This motor comprises a 1st frame 10 having a storage groove 12a, a terminal block 50 having a terminal housing 52 whose tip surface faces the aperture 12c of the storage groove 12a and which defines a holder insertion part 15 with the storage groove 12a, contact terminals 70 which are attached to the tip side of the terminal housing 52 and face the aperture 12c of the storage groove 12a, a 2nd frame 20, a stator 30 provided between the 1st frame 10 and the 2nd frame 20 via the terminal block 50, a rotor 40, and a brush holder 60 in which carbon brushes 63 are stored and which is attached to the holder insertion part 15 by retaining protrusions 62 which are made to protrude toward the contact terminal 70 side and retained with the tips of the contact terminals 70. Further, the motor has ribs 55 (reinforcing members) which are formed on the base part of the terminal housing 52 in order to prevent the terminal housing 52 from falling down.
