PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed analog/digital converter circuit that can attain a low voltage operation, micro processing and high circuit integration. SOLUTION: The analog/digital converter circuit is provided with loopback circuits 2a-2c that respectively receive an analog signal pair and a reference voltage pair and provide an output of a looped-back differential current pair, comparators 3a-3c that compare the difference current pair outputted from the loopback circuits and provide an output of a high-order 3-bit gray code, sine wave generating circuits 4a-4d that provide an output of a 4-phase sign wave pair, an interpolation circuit 5 that interpolates between the 4-phase sign wave pairs and outputs 32-sets of sign wave pairs, a comparator 6 that respectively compares the sign wave pairs, and a gray code encoder 7 that converts an output of the comparator 6 into a low-order 5-bit gray code.
