PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide.transmission line converter with a switch function. SOLUTION: A switch device is provided between a strip line placed to a waveguide opening and a waveguide short circuit plate with a notch. Since electromagnetic coupling between the matching element in the waveguide and the strip line san be controlled by turning ON/OFF the switch device, the converter is realized, where power between the waveguide and the strip line is converted and switching can be attained.
