PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally simple and inexpensive switch mechanism by liquid quantity detection. SOLUTION: This mechanism has a receiver drum 4 formed into a funnel shape, a receiver dish 5 overturned to conduct draining when a prescribed quantity of liquid is collected, a sensor 6 for detecting the overturn of the dish 5 to issue a signal, and a timer 7 for keeping an ON or OFF condition for a prescribed time when the signal from the sensor 6 is received, and is constituted to turn a circuit of operation equipment on or off for the prescribed time set by the timer 7 when the dish 5 is overturned.
