PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measures to cope with such circumstances that no-finder photographing is performed. SOLUTION: This camera includes a photographing lens 11, finders 24, 25 and 26 for observing a subject, and a line-of-sight detecting means 40 detecting the position of the line of sight of a photographer in a photographic image plane formed by the lens 11. The means 40 is equipped with an illumination means 41 for illuminating a photographer's eye through the finder and a light receiving means 47 detecting reflected light reflected by the photographer's eye, and detects whether or not the photographer observes the finder by comparing output from the means 47 between at illuminating time and at non- illuminating time by the means 41. |
