PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor machine for air conditioner, which is constituted to be able to be connected easily and accurately to the service port of a three-way valve, from which a vacuum pump hose is led out obliquely downward at evacuation. SOLUTION: The cover 7 of a control valve is provided with a recessed housing section 7a, which houses a bent section 9 used to position the front-end junction 10 of the vacuum pump hose 8 in a state where the junction 10 faces opposite to the service port 4a of a three-way valve 4 when the cover 7 is temporarily set up below the valve 7 at evacuation.
