PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nameplate with illumination which is capable of easily improving the visibility of nameplates, mailboxes, etc. SOLUTION: A main body block (3) having the nameplate (1) mounted on a near side and the illumination (2) for illuminating the nameplate (1) exists. The lower part of the main body block (3) is provided with irradiation holes (4) for irradiating this part downwardy with light. These irradiation holes (4) are commonly used as drain holes (5) for discharging the water infiltrating the inside of the main body block (3).
