PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shieldable light transparent window material which is small in grounding resistance of an electromagnetic wave shielding material, is light in weight and thin, hardly splashes in spite of cracking, has the good electromagnetic wave shielding performance and near IR cutting performance adequate as an electromagnetic wave shielding filter, etc., for PDPs, is light transparent and makes it possible to obtain bright images. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic wave shieldable light transparent window material 1 is integrated with one sheet of transparent substrate 2, an antireflection film 8, conductive mesh 3 and a near IR cutting film 5 by intermediate films 4A and 4B for adhesion and a tacky adhesive 4C and is clad with a conductive tacky adhesive tape 7 at its peripheral edge. The near IR cutting film 5 has >=2 layers of the near IR cutting layers. The antireflection film 8 and the intermediate film 4A for adhesion are smaller than the transparent substrate 2 and do not cover the end of the conductive mesh 3. A conductive sheet 6 is adhered to the end of the conductive sheet 3 and the top thereof is covered with the conductive tacky adhesive tape 7.
