PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule and an optical connector capable of being easily assembled with high precision. SOLUTION: Relating to the ferrule 10 consisting of a ferrule cylindrical body 20 which holds the end part of an optical fiber, a holding part 30 which is provided in the rear end part of the ferrule cylindrical body 20 and holds a coated optical fiber, and a collar member 40 which has a through hole into which the holding part 30 can be inserted and also has a groove 42 for positioning with an optical connector housing in the outer periphery, thread parts 34, 41 threaded to the other side are provided in at least one side of the outer peripheral surface of the holding part 30 and the inner peripheral surface of the collar member 40, and also the holding part 30 is threaded and fixed to the collar member 40 in the thread parts 34, 41.
