PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes time to process a frame synchronization and starting cannot speedily be conducted in the digital broadcast receiver of ISDB. SOLUTION: An ISDB signal is received. An XOR computing element 9 conducts an XOR operation between the TMCC carrier of one frame, which is stored in a one frame accumulator 7, and a TMCC carrier in a one frame delay circuit 8, which is delayed by one frame. A pattern detector 10 searches an operation result and detects the position of a prescribed pattern corresponding to a synchronizing signal. A frame error converter 11 outputs the shift to the head position of the frame of the ISDB signal as a frame error. |
