PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core support which can be used commonly to hold a magnetic core in plural kinds of magnetic heads whose specifications of the width of recording track sizes differ. SOLUTION: Two core grooves 5a, 5b which fit the magnetic core 1 equipped with a coil bobbin 2 are formed at the position where the surface and the rear side surface face each other. In core grooves 5a and 5b, the width sizes a and b of the direction corresponding to the track width direction of the magnetic core 1 differ. By using core grooves 5a and 5b alternatively, two kinds of magnetic cores 1 whose width sizes of the track width direction are a and b are fitted and held alternatively.
