PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-proof reinforcing fitting for a building that improves earthquake-proof performance so that the wooden building does not collapse even if the wooden building is vibrated greatly by earthquakes, typhoons, or the like. SOLUTION: Earthquake-proof reinforcing fitting 1 is composed of a pair of fitting bodies 1-1 and 1-2 fixed on a building structure material, and a tightening tool 2 for elastically and mutually interlocking the fitting bodies 1-1 and 1-2. The fitting bodies 1-1 and 1-2 have opposing pieces 11 and 11 where the one end part is bent, the opposing pieces 11 and 11 of the pair of the fitting bodies 1-1 and 1-2 are subjected to butting between one building structure material and the other adjacent to it, and the tightening tool 2 where an elastic material 23 is included is used for elastically securing the opposing pieces 11 and 11, thus allowing the joint between the building structure materials to subjected to earthquake-proof reinforcement.
