<p>PURPOSE: A vegetable fiber material lock for purifying sewage and wastewater is provided, which is suitable for habitation of microorganisms that oxidize, decompose and reduce organic matter by excellent affinity of the natural vegetable fiber for microorganism, does not untie in water, is large in porosity and can be used for an extended time, so that the system can treat sewage and wastewater efficiently. CONSTITUTION: The is made by the following steps: (i) laminate 0.5-2 kg per square meter of coconut shell and compact the laminated shell; (ii) mix an adhesive 40-65wt%, activated carbon 20-45wt% and bioceramic 15-40wt%; (iii) spray the mixture of 40-50 wt.% based on the weight of the coconut shell, on the both sides of the laminated shell; and (iv) dry the material naturally.</p> |
