<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an invasion of water into seal material in a smaller diameter of grommet. SOLUTION: This grommet includes a small diameter of cylindrical portion, an enlarge diameter of cylindrical portion being continuous to one end of the small diameter of cylinder, a car body engaging recess formed at outer circumference of the enlarged diameter of cylindrical portion, and a small diameter of returning cylindrical portion being continuous to an inner circumference of leading opening of the enlarged diameter of cylindrical portion. The small diameter of returning cylindrical portion has a thin portion and a gripping piece and is returned to inside of the small diameter of cylindrical portion from the enlarged diameter of cylindrical portion. A gap, which is filled with seal material, is formed between the small diameter of returning cylindrical portion and the enlarged diameter of cylindrical portion. The small diameter of returning cylindrical portion functions as engaging portion with an inner circumference of the small diameter of cylindrical portion. A hollow of the small diameter of returning cylindrical portion is a wire harness inserting hole and the thin portion is cut when the gripping piece is elongated, so that seal material filled in the gap flows from the cut portion to the wire harness inserting hole to fill gaps of wire group.</p> |
