<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable two-component developer having satisfactory triboelectric chargeability, even if it comprises a spherical toner and a spherical carrier, stably keeping the quantity of triboelectric charges because the satisfactory triboelectric chargeability is not impaired, even after long-term use and capable of forming an superior image. SOLUTION: The two-component developer has at least a toner and a magnetic carrier. The toner consists of at least a bonding resin and a colorant and, having a coating layer formed by sticking granular agglomerates containing at least a silicon compound to one another on the surface of each of toner particles having a shape factor SF1 of 1.0-1.2. The magnetic carrier has carrier particles, having a shape factor SF1 of 1.0-1.2 and a shape factor SF2 of 1.1-2.5.</p> |
