PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP and method of manufacturing the same which can prevent the metal diffusion by dendrite and migration and also has precision structure electrode being capable of responding to the high definition and a high reliability of transparent dielectric layer. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel is provided with an electrode and a dielectric layer, and made from two relatively rotating substrates. At least one substrate, one dielectric layer is formed through other the dielectric layer and the electrode is provided at a recess formed at the related dielectric layer.
