PROCESS CONTROL CONFIGURATION SYSTEM TO BE USED TOGETHER WITH PROFIBUS DEVICE NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process control configuration system to be used together with an AS interface device network. SOLUTION: Each of AS interface 60, Profibus 55 and HART 48 or Fieldbus 44 has a device network and performs communication with a controller 12 while using a different communication protocol for input/output. An I/O configurator accesses a configuration data base storing configuration information on these networks by an access routine. Further, the block diagram of these device networks is displayed by a document routine.
