<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for integrating field devices in an equipment control system. SOLUTION: In the method and system for integrating field devices in the equipment control system having plural communication networks 3-5 and a control station 2, a field device 1 sends the function description 13 of a device function 11 to the station 2 by a standard format, a function 23 related to the field device 1 is installed in the station 2, a communication link is functioned by setting up it between the device function 11 of the device 1 and the function of the control station 23. In a suitable explanation for the invention, the device function 11 is automatically or manually connected to equipment structure 24. Preferably, the invention is used for a switch device of high voltage or intermediate voltage, the specifications of the communication link in equipment and the complexity of commissioning can be considerably reduced and the quality of the equipment control system can be resultantly improved.</p> |
