<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine for sending a voice message to be sent to an opposite party while suitably switching the language of the voice message. SOLUTION: When a terminated call is detected, the facsimile machine reproduces and sends a voice message for incoming greeting and a voice message for a language selection in Japanese and in English, and it is checked which PB signal of '1' to '3' for language selection is sent from the party and detected. The facsimile machine determines the language selected by the detected PB signal, the voice message prepared in the relevant selected language is read out of a memory part and sent out as a voice message to be sent by an information box function, and information box processing is peformed (steps S201-S212).</p> |
