<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression multiplex system control system that can control a compression multiplex system unit in the unit of GOP synchronously with a GOP period that is an operating period of the compression multiplex system unit and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: The compression multiplex system control system is provided with a GOP signal generator 1 that generates a GOP signal denoting a period of a GOP specifying number of frames of a video signal, a compression multiplex unit 2 that is operated in the unit of the GOP periods synchronously with the GOP signal, and a controller 3 that outputs a control signal to the compression multiplex unit synchronously with the GOP signal.</p> |
