<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wafer protecting container capable of packaging an IC wafer at a low cost and in a simple process and allowing the IC wafer to be put in/out of the container, without damaging the IC wafer. SOLUTION: The wafer protecting container composed of a container body, locker, container cover and a plurality of wafer fixtures is assembled to prevent an IC wafer from shaking during transporting. The container body has at least one opening, and allows the IC wafer to be charged and taken out simply. The locker is used for holding the IC wafer at a specified position in the container body, and the container cover covers the container body more strongly protects the IC wafer. The container cover has a plurality of recesses, and allows the IC wafer protecting container to be easily opened. Since fixtures can fix the container cover to the container body, the seal between the container cover and the container body never breaks even by severe shakes during transporting, and hence fear of contaminating the IC wafer is reduced.</p> |
