PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible duct which has no large loosened margin which can be used, even if the length of the flexible duct and the length of an actual execution do not match, and can constitute a piping channel with stability, and at the same time, can be readily utilized for bending works. SOLUTION: A body 1 of the flexible duct for air conditioning, which can be deformed variably by bending and extension, comprises two constraining points located in the axial direction of the body with an interval therebetween, and an operating element that can be bent freely such as a strap, wire or the like, which is connected to the body 1 through the constraining points. The operating element is rendered movable in the axial direction of the body 1, with respect to at least one of the two constraining points. Thus, through the movement of the operating element, the body 1 can be extended or contracted.
