PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a desired subordinate interphone read a message addressed to this subordinate interphone at suitable time from the registered master interphone of a terminal, which is functioned as a subordinate interphone of cordless telephone indoors and functioned as a terminal of PHS(R) outdoor. SOLUTION: The master interphone of cordless telephone has a means for recording a message addressed to any arbitrary mobile telephone set registered as a subordinate interphone, corresponding to instruction information specifying this mobile telephone set, a means for reporting the presence of the message to the mobile telephone set specified by the instruction information when this mobile telephone set is detected within the radius of the base unit itself, and a means for transmitting the message corresponding to the instruction information to the mobile telephone set specified by this instruction information when the transfer of this message is commanded from this mobile telephone set.
