PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion-fitting connecting terminal which can prevent deterioration of friction by reducing abrasion by fine sliding while curtailing an insertion force. SOLUTION: A thin tin plated layer of the thickness of 0.1μm is formed on the tab 12 of a male terminal 10, a thin tin plated layer of the thickness of 0.1μm is formed on a base 23 of a female terminal 20 and a thick tin plated layer of the thickness of 1.0μm is formed on the emboss 22 of the female terminal 20. Between the tab 12 and the emboss 22, one is thin plated and the other thick plated, so that an inserting force needed for terminal insertion can be curtailed using sliding movement alone. Further, between the tab 12 and the bead 23 both are thin plated, so that after insertion is finished, friction coefficient gets high due to biting of the terminal. Therefore, the contact part of the male terminal 10 and the female terminal 20 do not move easily, preventing deterioration caused by abrasion due to fine sliding.
