PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, capable of magnifying image data with an arbitrary and precise variable power rate in real time without requiring a page memory at magnification times. SOLUTION: Input image data 11 are written into a first line memory 1, according to a first clock signal 12 and read out according to a second clock signal 13 with the N-fold frequency of the first clock signal 12, Moreover, image data outputted from the first line memory 1 are written into a second line memory 2 according to the second clock signal 13 and similarly read out according to the second clock signal 13. Therefore, while the image data for one line are written in the first line memory 1, image data are outputted once from the first line memory 1, and (N-1) times from the second line memory 2, and N-fold image data can be provided in sub-scanning direction. By performing reducing processing in a first image-processing part 3, output image data 14 magnified with the arbitrary variable power rate to N-fold in the sub-scanning direction can be obtained.
