Novel carboxy substituted cyclic carboxamide derivatives, useful in the treatment of tachykinin-mediated diseases

Carboxy substituted cyclic carboxamide derivatives of formula (1), wherein; G1 is CH2 or C(O);G2 is CH2 or C(O); M is 2 or 3; N is 0 or 1; R1 is from 1 to 3 substituents each independently chosen from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen,-CF3, C1-C6 alkyl, and C1-C6 alkoxy, (other optional substituents are listed in the disclosure), and stereoisomers and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. These compounds are useful as tachykinin receptor antagonists. Such antagonists are useful in the treatment of tachykinin-mediated diseases and conditions including: asthma, cough, and bronchitis.
