MOVABLE SPOT COOLER SYSTEM USING ICE STORAGE

PURPOSE: A movable spot cooler system using ice storage is provided to solve problems of power supply for air-conditioning in summer by circulating cold air to inside by a fan from thawing thermal storage material of a cartridge in a spot cooler and to maximize air-conditioning efficiency and movability of the spot cooler. CONSTITUTION: A door at the rear of a body(61) of a spot cooler(60) is rotated centering on hinges to open a cavity in the body. Plural cartridges(54) are put into each fixing plate(66) of the cavity. Then, the cavity is closed by the door. The sidewalls of the body, the door and the fixing plates isolate thermal contact between the cartridges and outside completely. Thereby, the thawing speed of thermal storage material is delayed and the inside is air-conditioned for a long time. To improve the early air-conditioning efficiency of the spot cooler, the fixing plates keep a distance from the highest cartridges of the cavity. The cartridges are inserted to the upper face of the fixing plates at the top of the cavity first and to the lower face sequentially.
