FUEL BUNDLE/CONTROL ROD ASSEMBLY FOR REACTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel bundle/control rod assembly for reactor capable of reducing the number of control rod drive units without requiring any substantial design change of a fuel bundle. SOLUTION: A reactor comprises a plurality of general size fuel bundles 162 and at least one large control rod 160. The large control rod comprises four fuel bundle housing channels 168, and each of the channels has a dimension such that four general size fuel bundles can be housed.
