PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material having superior graininess and having high processing stability. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has two or more silver halide photosensitive layers each containing silver halide, a coupler and a developing agent. When the sensitive material is heat-developed, after exposure with light exposure which attains color development to the maximum density, the relative ratio of the reciprocal of the development time (t1/2) required to develop color to 1/2 of the maximum developed color density of the two or more photosensitive layers is 0.8-1.0.
