PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional mirror that when round water drops due to the surface tension of water such as vapor and fog deposit on the surface of a the mirror, light diffracts to prevent reflection of an image. SOLUTION: The one surface 2 of a glass plate 1 shown in Fig. 1 is formed into a rough surface and the other surface 3 is processed into a mirror surface. The feature of the frosted glass mirror is that when water vapor or fog deposits on the rough surface, water drops fill the recesses to make the rough surface flat, which allows light to propagate straight to reflect an image.
