PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system, capable of supplying a refrigerating machine oil to a compressor, even if a foreign matter capturing means is clogged. SOLUTION: The air-conditioning system comprises a compressor, a condenser, a pressure reducing unit and an evaporator connected sequentially by refrigerant piping, an oil separator for separating the refrigerating machine oil in a refrigerant vapor discharged from the compressor to the piping connected from the compressor to the condenser, an oil-return circuit connected to the piping connected at its one side to the separator and at the other from the evaporator to the compressor, and an oil flow rate control means for controlling a flow rate of the oil to the returning circuit. In this case, the returning circuit has a foreign matter capturing means for capturing foreign matters, and a bypass means for bypassing the capturing means.
