PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal joint structure of an outer wall excellent in work efficiency and capable of simplifying the construction process and contributing to reduction of term of works as the construction wall surface becomes wider by immediately completing construction because the joining work for the adjacent horizontal joint materials 6 is the work for fitting the horizontal joint 6 to a lateral frame 5. SOLUTION: A facing wall panel 1 is installed on a lateral frame 5 disposed in a skeleton 2, and further a horizontal joint material 6 is installed through a stopping member 12 locked in the lateral frame 5, and the stopping member 12 is also used as a connecting member for connecting the adjacent horizontal joint materials 6 to each other.
