PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressed cement roof tile having a tough structure while reducing the total weight thereof in a very simple structure. SOLUTION: The pressed cement roof tile is formed by burying reinforcing fiber in mortar by wet pressing. The mortar forming the pressed cement roof tile contains 30-100 pts.wt. fine aggregate to 100 pts.wt. cement. The pressed cement roof tile is formed by pressure forming reinforcing fiber mixed mortar made by mixing 0.5-3 pts.wt. reinforcing fibers to 100 pts.wt. mortar containing cement, and the weight per unit area is 20-35 kg/m2. The pressed cement roof tile has a central part of the back integrated with a thick plate part 2. The thick plate part 2 has the longitudinal width 25-75% of the total longitudinal width of the roof tile, the lateral width 15-60% of the total lateral width of the roof tile, and the average thickness 10-40% of the roof tile.
