PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant reinforcing tool having improved earthquake resistant performance so that a wooden building does not collapse even when strong vibration is applied due to an earthquake, a typhoon or the like. SOLUTION: The earthquake resistant reinforcing fitting 1 is composed of an L-shaped base material 2 folding a corrugated plate material, a reinforcing member 3 folding the corrugated plate material and contacted on the folded part of the L-shaped base material 2, and a buffering member 4 comprising rubber superior in elasticity and water resistance and locked at several points of the L-shaped base material 2. When the reinforcing base material 3 is contacted on the L-shaped base material 2, a void 7 exists between the folded corner part 3c of the reinforcing member 3 and the folded corner part 2c of the L-shaped base material 2.
