PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stackable block which is formed of porous concrete and normal concrete with slump of 3 or more, and can maintain required strength while offering a biotope for microorganisms and plants by virtue of the presence of the porous concrete, and to provide a method for producing the stackable block. SOLUTION: The stackable block 1 is formed by curing the normal concrete with slump of 3 or more and the porous concrete so as to be stuck to each other. The stackable block has an bonding layer 4 at a boundary between the normal concrete and the porous concrete 12, which bonding layer 4 is formed by hydraulically hardening a hydraulic powder interposed at the boundary at least before curing of the normal concrete 12. Particularly, a surface 2 of the stackable block 1 has projections 3 formed of the porous concrete, and the bonding layer 4 is placed almost at a base-side end of the projections 3. Further, concave grooves 6 which each reach edges of the projection are formed between the projections, respectively, and when the blocks are installed, they are stacked in a manner of uncoursed masonry.
