PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus for fitting an electric wiring device to a corner part of a room, where when an electric wiring device which includes a telephone set, a television cable jack, etc., is installed in a corner part of a room, for which the conventional apparatus is restricted to installed on a side wall distant from the corner part of the room, so that wall surface wiring or the like as far as the corner part is necessary. SOLUTION: The fixing apparatus for fitting the electric wiring device to the corner part 206 of a room, where walls 201 and 202 intersect with each other is equipped with a solid adapter 207 which has a surface 210 for fixing a rear wall 231 of the fixing apparatus. The adapter has receiving means 214, 215 for receiving fixtures 216, 217 which fix the adapter to a strut in the corner part. The adapter is provided with side walls 208, 209, which are rectangular and not parallel. A wider wall of trapezoidal parallel walls 210, 211 is provided with a fixing means for fixing the electric wiring device, close to the wall. |
