PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an array antenna system consisting of a logarithmic period dipole array antenna, a phase shifter and a feeding circuit that can suppress deterioration in an element array pattern due to unbalanced currents on the logarithmic period dipole array antenna stimulated at a specific frequency so as to avoid a gain reduction at the specific frequency and the increase in a side lobe level. SOLUTION: In the array antenna system consisting of the logarithmic period dipole array antennas each comprising dipole antennas alternately arranged on two parallel lines of two conductors at a logarithmic period interval that are placed on a plane or a curved plane at an equal interval, of the phase shifters connected to each logarithmic period dipole array antenna and of the feeding circuit connected to the phase shifters that synthesizes outputs of the phase shifters, a substance with a loss at an antenna operating band is coated or mounted to the outside of the two parallel lines of the logarithmic period dipole array antenna.
