PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for constructing an information database using a personal communication unit is provided to reduce an error of information stored through a single database server by providing information through an automatic answering phone or personal communication units, and by enabling an operator to store the information in the single database server. CONSTITUTION: A wire/wireless terminal(100) outputs voice data in order to provide/receive various information. An automatic answering phone server(200) receives the voice data and outputs voice data previously stored to the wire/wireless terminal(100). An Internet personal communication unit(300) outputs relevant data in order to provide/receive various information which a user wants. A web server(400) receives the data outputted from the Internet personal communication unit(300) and drives a program. A manager terminal(500) receives the information data outputted from the automatic answering phone server(200) or the web server(400) and outputs a control signal. An information database construction device(600) receives the control signal outputted from the manager terminal(500) and constructs a database.
