PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller capable of protecting the overcurrent of an output circuit without increasing cost by combining general purpose parts. SOLUTION: An overcurrent detecting resistor built in an output transistor(TR) circuit compares applied voltage with reference voltage to determine the existence of overcurrent, and upon detecting overcurrent, drives an overcurrent display circuit and controls the base current of the output TR circuit to protect overcurrent of the output circuit.
