PURPOSE: A method for authenticating a member on the Internet and a recording media are provided to enable a user to easily access a site without a special authentication procedure by giving a tag including an ID of a member to an electronic mail sent to the member, and by enabling the member to respond to the mail. CONSTITUTION: A mail including a tag generated from using member identification information and period setting codes is sent to a mail account of a user(S103). The mail is received from a user terminal. In case that the tag included in the mail is clicked, IP(Information Provider) information and the member identification information are transmitted to an authentication server(S111). The IP information and the member identification information are transmitted to a web server(S115). A connection of the user is authenticated on the basis of the IP information and the member identification information(S117). A relevant service web page is transmitted to the user authenticated as the member(S119).
