PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplitude distortion compensation method and a wireless communication system where a receiver side estimates amplitude distortion due to a nonlinear circuit and compensates it so as to decrease errors due to distortion of information symbols in the case of passing a linear modulation signal through the nonlinear circuit. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication system, a modulator 10 of a transmitter is provided with a waveform memory 11 and changeover device 12 that are used to transmit a training signal for measuring distortion known to a receiver side at start of communication, and a demodulator 20 of a receiver is provided with a training signal detector 22 that detects the received training signal, an estimate device 23 that estimates the distortion of the received training signal, a correction value calculation device 24 that calculates a distortion compensation value from the estimated distortion, and a multiplier 28 that multiplies the calculated distortion compensation value with a received modulation wave signal. |
